Hi gents,
For next lesson (Tuesday 3rd May), you need to have completed the Catcher in the Rye essay question we started looking at in today's lesson:
Write about Holden’s relationships with females in The Catcher in the Rye, and how Salinger presents these relationships.
Give yourself 45 minutes in exam conditions to write this essay.
Bring it with you to Tuesday's lesson.
Have a great bank holiday,
Mr Kirkaldy

11Y - revision
Hi gents, In today's lesson you were all given a Cheney Takeaway menu that will direct you to revision material on YouTube. Think about what areas you feel you need to work on and direct your revision in that direction. On Friday: we will be doing a Paper 1, Section A exam conditions test - implementing the Reading Non-Fiction skills we've been looking at in the last few lessons:
- following an argument
- differentiating fact and opinion
- commenting on linguistic devices
- commenting on presentational devices
- comparing and cross-reference
See you then, Mr Kirkaldy
